The GiGi Dentists use latest technology and solution to replace your missing teeth. Depending of a few factors, one of the following solutions will be advised as most suitable one.
BRIDGE
Dental bridges are used as a permanent solution to bridge a gap created by one or more missing teeth.
CROWN
A crown is used to restore a tooth’s size, shape and strength. It surrounds any remaining portion of the original tooth and is permanently bonded in place. Properly maintained, a crown can last a lifetime.
IMPLANT
Dental implants serve as replacement roots for either permanent or removable replacement teeth that are created to match your natural teeth.

01
Implant
An implant replaces the root of the missing tooth and serves as a support for your new tooth (crown) or teeth (a row of crowns also known collectively as a bridge). Dental implants can also be used as attachment or support for full dentures in cases where all teeth are missing.
A dental implant is a small titanium screw which is surgically placed into the jaw bone. This is possible due to the biocompatible properties of titanium. A strong bond is formed between the implants and the bone over several weeks or months (osseointegration), firmly anchoring them to the jaws and hence, the ability to function as mentioned.

03
Bridge
A Bridge is a special dental restoration for replacing missing teeth using crowns on the adjacent teeth. The teeth at the side of missing area are trimmed and the bridge is cemented permanently to replace the missing teeth.
Compared to other methods, the bridge is significantly more comfortable than a denture and is typically cheaper than a dental implant.
What are crowns and bridges made of?
Crowns and Bridges are made of different materials, always aiming at what works best and achieving most long-lasting results. They can be made of full ceramic, full metal, a combination of porcelain and metal or made of other materials.
At GiGi dental we also use newer materials, such as zirconia, that is whitish or tooth-coloured, has improved strength over other tooth-coloured materials. The material will perform well when they are used for the right indications.
Based on your particular situation, a Dentist will suggest the best way to go. It all starts with a check and GiGi will always try hard to find a perfect solution for you.
